Goodwill Receives Top Recognition for Programs and Services

Goodwill® has received a three-year accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) – an international, non-profit, certification agency focused on health and human service providers. Following CARF’s extensive review process, Goodwill was credited for its exemplary and comprehensive operations and services, sound financial management, close observance of health and safety protocols, and strong community presence, among other achievements.

 Goodwill received high marks in more than a dozen performance-based categories, including:

  • Strong experience and considerable longevity of staff.
  • Excellent leadership and strategic planning of board members and senior management.
  • Exemplary safety program and working/learning environments for staff and clients.
  • Successful fundraising efforts dedicated to supporting core programs and organizational mission.
  • High-quality programs and facilities providing innovative and comprehensive services.
               

Goodwill’s CARF accreditation extends through 2014 and serves as a “Good Housekeeping” seal —underscoring the organization’s mission and dedication to improving quality of life and long-term outcomes for tens of thousands of individuals with disabilities and disadvantages each year.
